A day in Seattle
It happens, and this was a trip where we were not 100% well. Three days before we flew out we attended a 2-hour long tea tasting where an individual at our table was snuffling and clearly unwell. We made the the best of it, full of every single type of cold medication CVS offers. We think it made the flowers on Bainbridge Island even more pretty. We found Pia at a park, a thought provoking exhibit, and ended the day at a sold out hockey game.

The Ferry to Bainbridge
We hopped on public transit to make our way from the Queen Anne area to the Seattle Ferry Terminal.

Bainbridge Island
We had so much fun walking around and exploring the shops.

Pia the Peacekeeper
Pia is the third Thomas Dambo troll we’ve visited in the past couple of years.

Bainbridge History Museum: Executive Order 9066 Exhibit
On display January–April 2026, Executive Order 9066 features the work of artist Chris Demarest, presenting a visual interpretation of Japanese American life during World War II, both at home and on the front lines.
If you get to visit this exhibit in another gallery, we highly recommend it. We stumbled upon it because we love visiting local history museums and it was a highlight of the day.

Seattle Torrent at Climate Pledge Arena
The reason we were in Seattle for the day was to see the Torrent play the Sceptres.
